The high quality therapeutic foam mattress included with this bed provides pressure redistribution and shear/friction reduction. It features 3 full layers of latex-free foam, with a top layer that is die-cut for optimal pressure redistribution. The bottom layer has horizontally scored articulation cuts for added durability. The high density foam perimeters provide solid edge support and make patient transfers safe and easy. The mattress also has a visco foam heel section to offload pressure from vulnerable heels.

The removable multi-stretch cover is fluid resistant, low shear, and vapor permeable, helping to protect the skin from friction and moisture.
